The holiday home is located in a quiet residential area, only 500m from Lake Bled. Two spacious holiday flats await you. From the balcony you have a beautiful panoramic view of the Karavanke mountains and the lake, with its romantic island. The internet connection can be used free of charge via WLAN and the cable TV offers you numerous channels as well as various German-language channels.

Bled is located on the edge of the Triglav National Park in Slovenia, 20 km from the Austrian border. It is easy to reach via the Tauern motorway (A10): Munich – Salzburg – Villach – Bled. Located at the foot of the Julian Alps, Lake Bled is one of the most popular holiday destinations in Upper Carniola. Nature lovers and sports enthusiasts get their money’s worth here: hiking, golfing, mountain biking, diving, swimming, rafting, rowing and in winter skiing…

Curative Waters

The thermal water used in the indoor pools of Grand Hotel Toplice (22ºC), Hotel Park and Hotel Rikli Balance (30ºC, the water is additionally heated), apart from pleasant bathing, also enables successful healing of stress-related diseases, states of exhaustion and neurovegetative disorders. The analysis of the water system carried out by Prof. Dr. V. Kletzinski showed: the constant spring temperature is 23ºC; 10l of water contains 1520 cm² of free carbonic acid and 5.36 g of the salts chlorine sodium (0.12 g), sodium sulphate acid (0.57 g), sodium carbonate acid (0.30 g), calcium carbonate acid (2.31 g), magnesium carbonate acid, carbon ferric oxide acid, silicic acid, clay, phosphorus salt, and manganese.

Climate

Bled has a mild, sub-Alpine climate with the longest swimming season of any Alpine resort. The ridges of the Julian Alps and the Karavanke protect it from chilly northern winds. During the summer months there is rarely any fog. The average monthly temperature in July is 19°C and in January -1°C.

Location and Traffic Connections

Bled is located in the extreme north-western part of Slovenia at the foot of the Julian Alps at the confluence of the Sava Bohinjka and Sava Dolinka rivers.

The railway station in Bled is called BLED JEZERO and is on the Villach – Jesenice – Nova Gorica – Koper – Gorizia (Italy) line.

The railway station LESCE-BLED (3 km) is located on the route: Munich – Salzburg – Villach – Ljubljana – Belgrade – Istanbul – Athens.

The nearest international airport Ljubljana-Brnik is 36 km away. There are regular bus connections to the surrounding area or you can hire a rental car. The airport Klagenfurt in Austria is a good hour away from Bled by car.
